Chapter Philanthropy
At the Delta Rho Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma, we are deeply committed to promoting mental health awareness and supporting meaningful causes that make a difference both on our campus and beyond. Our chapter proudly supports Active Minds, a national organization dedicated to mental health advocacy.
In Fall 2024, we hosted Chips, Cheese, and KKGs, a fun and impactful event where we raised over $25,000 to benefit Active Minds and the William Magee Center for Wellness Education, an organization focused on substance misuse education and holistic student well-being.
“Giving back is at the core of who we are. Through our philanthropy, we not only honor those we love, but also create space for hope, healing, and meaningful change.”
In the Spring of 2025, we held our annual philanthropy tournament, the Kappa Classic, where our chapter came together with the Oxford community to raise over $27,000 in support of Active Minds and the Caroline Simrall Memorial Scholarship Fund, which honors the life and legacy of our beloved sister.
“Philanthropy isn’t just something we do—it’s a reflection of the love, compassion, and purpose that bring our sisterhood together.”
Through these events and year-round initiatives, we strive to foster a culture of compassion, support, and open dialogue around mental health. Supporting others and inspiring change is at the heart of what it means to be a Kappa.
